The Sympathizer (Finale)

The story follows the Captain (Hoa Xuande), a North Vietnam plant in the South Vietnam army. He is forced to flee to the United States with his general near the end of the Vietnam War. While living within a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he continues to secretly spy on the community and report back to the Viet Cong, struggling between his original loyalties and his new life.

Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name, this A24 project has been described as an espionage thriller and cross-culture satire about the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese Communist spy simply known as “The Captain” during the final days of the Vietnam War.

In addition to portraying “several antagonist roles” — ranging from an up-and-coming congressman and CIA operative to a Hollywood power player — Robert Downey Jr has also executive produced The Sympathizer alongside his wife Susan Downey.

The limited adaptation has been co-developed and co-created by Don McKellar in collaboration with celebrated South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook of Oldboy, Snowpiercer, and Decision To Leave fame. The duo have also juggled writing, directing, and executive producing duties.

Colin From Accounts Season 2

Binge’s second (and arguably most beloved) original production returns. Set in Sydney, Australia, Colin From Accounts centres on Ashley (Harriet Dyer) and Gordon (Patrick Brammall) — two singles brought together by a car accident and an injured dog whom they name Colin. The chaotic duo navigate life in tandem. Dyer and Brammall, a husband-and-wife team, have written and created the series in addition to starring.

Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and the IMF team must track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity if it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than the mission — not even the lives of those he cares about most.

How Are Things Looking For Binge Australia In May 2024?

Not bad. And that’s a great thing to say about a streaming service release schedule in early 2024.

Things are looking up for Binge with plenty arriving in May to clear the stink of HBO’s The Idol… and stave off boredom until House of the Dragon season 2 finally arrives.
