Samsung is one of the world’s largest makers of consumer electronics with a history in the industry that dates back to the 1960s.

The Samsung Group was founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company, since off-shooting into Samsung Electronics which is a subsidiary responsible for producing some of the most commercially successful products in technology today. Currently, Samsung Electronics is the world’s second-largest technology company by revenue, coming just behind Apple.
