Christopher Nolan’s dream heist thriller Inception has earned the top spot as IMDb’s highest-rated film of the decade.

The Leonardo DiCaprio-lead blockbuster about entering minds and stealing information currently sits on an aggregate score of 8.7, ranking 13th on IMDb’s Top 250 overall films

Hot on the heels of Nolan’s sci-fi epic is this year’s The Joker, with a rating of 8.6 and a current ranking of 19 on the Top 250 list. The critically acclaimed Korean drama Parasite comes in at third with a score of 8.5 and a solid position of 34 on the Top 250.

Nolan actually managed to make the list twice, with the Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway starring Interstellar (30 overall) popping up in the number four spot for the decade.

There was a considerable showing of foreign films, with Parasite being joined by Indian thriller Drishyam, French tear-jerker The Intouchables, and Lebanese drama Capernaum. Definitively proving modern-day movie audiences have a wide film taste that extend beyond Hollywood productions.
