Amazon Prime Video has locked in Luxe Listings Sydney season 2 starring Gavin Rubinstein of TRG at Ray White, D’Leanne Lewis of Laing+Simon Double Bay, and Simon Cohen of Cohen Handler after racking up impressive viewership numbers from the first season (the platform’s biggest Australian original to date).
As what is essentially Amazon’s answer to Netflix‘s Selling Sunset, the unscripted series follows the dynamic trio of high-powered real estate agents as they negotiate through the drama-rich landscape of Sydney’s coveted property market – “showcasing breathtaking homes with harbour views and beachfront backdrops” – as well as the drama-rich landscape of their respective personal lives.
We reached out to Gavin Rubinstein back in May 19th of this year for an exclusive comment:
“Every time I watched any real estate show from Los Angeles or New York, I knew a time would come where Sydney would get its chance to shine – because our real estate, in my opinion, is the best in the world. This is also reflective of the price of land, particularly in the Eastern Suburbs.
This series paints Sydney as an incredibly desirable place to call home, from beaches, to the city, and on the harbour, and I am incredibly proud to put the Australian real estate market on the global map with such a professional production.”
