High-end gaming chair designers Secretlab have partnered with Lamborghini to produce the most luxurious gaming chair on the market – the aptly named Secretlab for Automobili Lamborghini Pinnacle Edition.

While Secretlab is already quite well-known for pricey gaming chairs that are a notch higher than your usual console cockpit, it seems the company has leaned on the marque to create the market’s final boss.

The visually striking design has been clearly handled as an homage to Lamborghini, borrowing heavily from the Raging Bull’s distinctive design language. Only 50 examples of the Pinnacle Edition gaming chair were produced in the first instance, marrying the Italian car manufacturer’s flair with Secretlab’s penchant for ergonomics.

And according to reports all 50 of those Lamborghini gaming chairs sold out almost immediately. And while that’d be more than disappointing for uncompromising luxury gamers (a new market no doubt), Secretlab has gone on record promising that more of these gaming chairs are on the way in the coming months.

With a price tag of US$1,699 (AU$2,538), the Lamborghini gaming chair reflects the iconic sports car with a special carbon-fiber shell on the backrest, nodding to the material the manufacturer uses to boost its cars’ aerodynamic performance.

“Carbin fiber plays such an integral role in Lamborghini’s super sports cars, we knew we had to incorporate it into the Pinnacle Edition,” said Secretlab’s co-founder and chief strategy officer Alaric Choo in a statement.

“This was a first for us, or any gaming chair for that matter, which meant spending countless hours studying and experimenting with it.”

To further connect with the sports car, the Pinnacle Edition has been finished in black Alcantara and features Lamborghini’s signature Y-pattern quilted on the backrest along with embroidered lines on the side wings and seat base. You’ll find the Lamborghini badge dead in the centre of the backrest and the emblematic Italian flag bar on the front of the seat base.

Exclusively is stamped by a plate on the back of the chair showing the number of the example.

Those are Lamborghini’s specific touches, while Secretlab has taken care of the ergonomics, carrying over much of the comfortable features of the Titan Evo 2022.
