As FIFA 23 welcomes Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) and the fictitious AFC Richmond as playable elements, PGA Tour 2K23 has announced it’ll feature two very special characters, both of whom also hail from a different sport a la Lasso: Michael Jordan and Steph Curry.
According to the official press release, Curry will be dressed in his signature wardrobe: Under Armour Curry Iso-Chill Golf adjustable cap, Charged Curry SL shoes, Curry Polar polo shirt, as well as Curry Limitless shorts.
The Golden State Warrior’s stats, however, have yet to be disclosed. But if it’s even remotely reflective of his real-life prowess on the green as a scratch golfer, suffice it to say, he’ll be more than capable of holding his own.

As for His Airness himself, at this stage, neither a first-look, description, nor stats have been revealed for Michael Jordan’s digital avatar. Between him and Curry, they currently hold 10 NBA championship titles, seven NBA Finals MVP awards, are are 13-time NBA All-Stars.
“Players can tee up a head-to-head competition between the two basketball greats in Exhibition play locally,” reads the official PGA Tour 2K23 press release.
“Or online to determine which hoops star is the greater links legend or take on an elite roster of PGA TOUR pros, including: Tiger Woods, Xander Schauffele, Tony Finau, Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko, and more.”
Steph Curry will be available to all players as a free download at launch. Michael Jordan will also be playable at launch when you pre-order PGA Tour 2K23 Standard Edition or purchase the Deluxe Edition / Tiger Woods Edition / Michael Jordan Bonus Pack.
PGA Tour 2K23 Release Date: October 14th.
