Apple’s innovation with new iPhones is becoming more and more predictable with every release – bigger screen, fewer buttons, higher resolution, and so on. Anyone who has kept up with the device throughout the years can make a safe guess at what improvements the next version will possess. A natural part of this evolution, and probably what we value most (aside from battery life) is a better camera with every new iteration of the tech.
Apple (being the nifty marketers that they are) decided to launch this excellent competition in order to allow the public to display exactly what their phones can do. In all honesty, the results are stunning.
The winners were decided by a panel of experts that included Apple vice president of software Sebastien Marineau-Mes, iPhone travel photographer Annet de Graaf, and Obama’s Whitehouse photographer, Pete Souza. The winners will also receive an undisclosed ‘licensing fee’ as well as the awesome exposure that this type of challenge entails.
