As far as game launches go, the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5 certainly ranks among the more dramatic of ’em. In large part due to The Spectacular Save installation in Watermans Cove, Barangaroo.
In celebration of the hit video game franchise’s latest release, which has already been critically lauded as a title worthy of said franchise’s stellar reputation, the marketing geniuses over at Sony PlayStation have decided to suspend a truck in mid-air.
It’s quite the scene to be confronted with in broad daylight; replicating what it must feel like to be “saved” by the friendly neighbourhood web-slinger and part-time Avenger himself (Peter Parker). But after the sun goes down, you may encounter a “surprise” left behind by the iconic Spidey villain: Venom.
“Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated PS5 games to date and an amazing addition to PlayStation’s unbeatable lineup of exclusives,” said Patrick Lagana, PlayStation Australia’s Director of Marketing.
“Located right on Sydney’s newest and iconic skyline at Barangaroo, The Spectacular Save installation captures the power and imagination of the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise for PS5, and shows how we can ‘Be Greater. Together.'”

You can visit The Spectacular Save installation in Watermans Cove, Barangaroo from today until October 22nd. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, on the other hand, is now available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
