There have been more than few ambitious LEGO build kits in years gone past, ranging from any number of monstrous Star Wars models to the brand’s second-largest release in a 1:200 replica of the Titanic. Now, the Danish purveyors of bricked fun has upped the ante with a decidedly heftier iteration of the classic LEGO Eiffel Tower kits that not only crosses the 10,000-piece threshold, but also stands to become the tallest official LEGO kit ever sold.
With a total build height of approximately five foot (149 centimetres / 59 inches), similar to LEGO’s previous tributes to internationally recognised landmarks, we’re dealing with a faithfully geometric design – arches, supports, cross bracing, railings – that guides you into building the damn thing in a manner that mirrors the original’s actual construction (“recreate history in four parts”).

Other cute little features include the following:
- Observation platforms w/ lifts
- Esplanade w/ Parisian lampposts, benches, trees, & shrubbery
- Capped off with a French flag up top
And it almost goes without saying that the end product won’t just be an emotionally satisfying token of achievement. Given the staggering dimensions and painstakingly accurate detailing, you’ll end up with quite a visually impressive addition to the pad. That is, if you’re into that sort of thing.
The latest LEGO Eiffel Tower kit will be available for purchase later this week on Black Friday (November 25th). The price tag? An equally-casual $999.99.
