Christmas movies are a time-honoured tradition that deserves careful thought and equally careful curation. And with December 25th right around the corner (Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé are being defrosted at this very moment), we’ve put together a list of the very best seasonal flicks.Â
Some are straight-up classics. Some are merely set during Christmas but not explicitly about Christmas. There are definitely one or two in the mix that are tangentially Christmas-themed in subjective feel – though they serve as great transitions/great watches all the same.
Here’s your BH-approved advent calendar of Christmas movies for 2025. Note: feel free to mix the order up depending on household mood.
