The highly-anticipated follow-up to the Coen brothers’ iconic The Big Lebowski is almost upon us. And ahead of its release in approximately a month’s time, The Jesus Rolls has finally given us a first trailer.
The film will follow John Turturro’s show-stealing Jesus Quintana, who made us all feel some kind of way when he licked those bowling balls. A way I have yet to fully explain to my therapist in the present day.
Quintana finds himself on early release from prison due to good behaviour, and soon picks things up where he left them in terms of small-time crime. Something that already looks like a whole lot of cinematic fun and tableau, matter-of-fact humour.
Turturro has written, directed, and stars in The Jesus Rolls. Joining the multi-hyphenate talent will be Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou, Jon Hamm, Susan Sarandon, Pete Davidson, and Christopher Walken.
The Jesus Walks will be released in select theatres and available on-demand come March 6th of 2020.
