History was made this afternoon when South Korean black comedy film Parasite (2019) picked up a total of four Oscars at the 92nd Academy Awards.
The flick was the first foreign language film to ever take out the win for the ‘Best Picture’ category, while director and co-writer, Bong Joon Ho, also secured the win for ‘Best Director.’
The suspense-ridden story centres around the tug-of-war between greed and class discrimination, more specifically the tense relationship between the impoverished Kim clan that scams its way into working for the ridiculously wealthy Park family.
Parasite is still in select cinemas around Australia, but for those who can’t wait for it to arrive on streaming services, you can watch it tonight on any of the below platforms.
