Earlier this year we showed you the teaser trailer for ‘The Revenant’, and now the full length trailer is out ahead of its Christmas release.
It begins with DiCaprio getting attacked by a bear, buried alive, and then crawling his way out of his grave to begin his quest for revenge against Tom Hardy.
The film looks set to be a big hit come awards season with one of the more formidable teams in recent memory involved in all aspects of the film, DiCaprio & Hardy in lead roles, Oscar winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki (Birdman, Gravity), and Alejandro González Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel) bringing the whole film together as director.
Needless to say, The Revenant looks truly incredible and could be the perfect excuse to slink away from the extended family after Christmas lunch.
