Paramount’s Rainbow Six movie has recruited a very exciting addition to the behind-the-scenes lineup in John Wick director and action stunt extraordinaire Chad Stahelski.
The forthcoming adaptation of the Tom Clancy novel that spawned Ubisoft’s hit video game series is a sequel to Without Remorse directed by Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) and written by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Yellowstone) – and will see Michael B. Jordan reprising the mantle of grieving Nave SEAL turned CIA operative: John Clark.
Without Remorse, of course, served as an origin story to the latest portrayal of the iconic character. After the brutal home invasion and execution of his pregnant wife Pam (Lauren London), Michael B. Jordan’s John Clark – formerly “John Kelly” – sets out to exact his vengeance, uncovering a sinister plot that threatens to engulf both the United States and Russian in an all-out conflict along the way.

While a synopsis for the Rainbow Six movie has yet to be confirmed, here’s a rough outline of what was covered in the original source material:
Rainbow Six follows Rainbow, a secret international counterterrorist organization headed by John Clark - whose codename is "Rainbow Six" - and the complex apocalyptic conspiracy they unravel after handling multiple seemingly random terrorist attacks.
In addition to leading the cast, Micahel B. Jordan is producing the flick alongside Elizabeth Raposo via the duo’s Outlier Society banner, as well as Akiva Goldsman and Greg Lessans via Weed Road Pictures, plus Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec through The Saw Mill. Chad Stahelski, on the other hand, will executive produce under his 87Eleven Entertainment with Jason Spitz and Alex Young.
Rainbow Six movie release date and trailer TBA.
