It was the film which that made Jonah Hill a regular household name and, let’s face it, we’re still quoting lines from it to this day. Superbad has gone down in history as one of the most iconic American comedies with a surprising amount of heart. Not only did it have audiences across the board wheezing – but also wanting to befriend Hill, Michael Cera, as well as Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
A movie focused around socially inept, underage teens trying to score some booze to accomplish their longstanding mission of losing the old v-plate, the project was penned by Seth Rogen and childhood friend Evan Goldberg; based loosely on their own experiences (hence why the lead characters are named Seth and Evan).
