Jonah Hill and Emma Stone are set to reunite for Netflix’s upcoming comedy series, Maniac. The duo have not worked together in this capacity since Superbad back in 2007. But this new project promises to have plenty of room for both Hill and Stone to work the small-screen laughs.
Maniac will be based on the satirical Norwegian series of the same name. The premise basically entails the story of two strangers who find themselves caught up in a “… mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone awry…”. The trial leaves the two strangers with the ability to live in their dreams and fantasies. Shenanigans implied.

This ten episode series will be directed by the ever so talented Cary Fukunaga, who in recent times has helmed the first season of True Detective, directed the Netflix film Beasts of No Nation, and penned the screenplay for the hit horror flick It just last year. Joining the cast to support Hill and Stone will be the likes of Justin Theroux, Sally Field, and Jemima Kirl.
This should be a good ‘un.
