Despite carving himself out a second career as an Academy Award-nominated actor, director, and musician, Bradley Cooper hasn’t ruled out reprising his role as Phil Wenneck for The Hangover 4.
“I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant,” Bradley Cooper revealed during his appearance on The New Yorker Radio Hour (via Deadline).

“Just because I love [director Todd Phillips], I love Zach [Galifianakis], I love Ed [Helms] so much, I probably would.”
Although the Hollywood multi-hyphenate of Silver Linings Playbook, American Sniper, A Star Is Born, and Maestro fame did offer a sobering caveat to all this: “I don’t think Todd is ever going to do that.”
Cooper, of course, hasn’t been the only Hangover franchise alum to make the jump to more prestigious pastures in the years since the classic comedy films; the last of a dying breed in the current landscape.

Post-War Dogs, Todd Phillips has had his hands full with the critically-acclaimed Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix; and its forthcoming sequel Joker: Folie a Deux, which welcomes fellow Bradley Cooper collaborator/pop songstress Lady Gaga to the DC fold.
Across all three existing films, The Hangover franchise has grossed close to $1.5 billion at the global box office — The Hangover: $469.3 billion, The Hangover Part II: $586.8 million, The Hangover Part III: $362 million.
Stay tuned for any potential updates on The Hangover Part IV (confirmation, release date, casting, trailer, etc.).
