Sony Pictures are ramping up the press for Zombieland: Double Tap with the release of a new red band trailer.
Ruben Fleischer’s Zombieland sequel takes place a decade after the original and reunites the four main cast members; Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin.
The film follows the four as they venture into the heart of America, and deal with evolved zombies who are smarter, faster and more vicious than ever, all while also encountering other humans with their own agendas.

This film clearly looks like tonnes of fun, with the trailer showcasing newcomer Rosaria Dawson taking out zombies in a monster truck, a Monica Lewinsky cigar joke, Harrelson playing Santa Claus and Bill Murray getting meta as he discusses why he chose to star in the first, despite being dead. Harrelson in particular looks to be enjoying himself as the macho, take no prisoners Tallahassee who comes in conflict with new arrival Luke Wilson.
Written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and David Callaham, the film also stars Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch, Avan Jogia and Dan Aykroyd as a fictionalised version of himself.
Zombieland: Double Tap hits cinemas next week on October 17, but until then you can check out the new red band trailer below.
