  • A Day On the Green is set to host a series of concerts at the Centennial Vineyards venue in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral (just a 90-minute drive from Sydney).
  • Headline artists include Fatboy Slim, Missy Higgins, Leon Bridges, and The Teskey Brothers.
  • The first event features Missy Higgins, who is set to perform on Saturday, November 30th, followed by The Teskey Brothers on Sunday, January 12th, Leon Bridges on Sunday, January 19th, and Fatboy Slim on Saturday, March 15th.

At a time when Aussie music festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Groovin The Moo, Falls Festival, and Bluesfest are dropping like flies, any news about local live music is good news.

And delivering a much-needed dose of good news is A Day On The Green, which has announced the headline acts for its upcoming series of concerts this summer — ranging from major names such as Fatboy Slim and Leon Bridges, to Missy Higgins and The Teskey Brothers.

The performances will take place between November and March at the Centennial Vineyards venue located in the historic town of Bowral; the latter situated just a 90-minute drive from Sydney. Centennial Vineyards, for context, is an 80-acre vineyard that produces some top-notch cool-climate wines, while also offering a reprieve from the bustle of Sydney city.

A Day On The Green’s summer series kicks off at the end of this month with our very own Missy Higgins, who is set to perform on Saturday, November 30th with supporting acts from Kate Miller-Heidke and Ruby Fields. After silly season has passed, the concerts return with The Teskey Brothers on Sunday, January 12th, alongside acts from Band of Horses, Charlie Needs Braces, Sierra Ferrell, and CMAT.
