It’s been a massive week of music releases. First came Kanye West with Donda. Then came the return of ABBA with the announcement a new album is on the way (plus two singles, ‘I Still Have Faith in You’ and ‘Don’t Shut Me Down’). Now, just hours before the long-awaited Friday knock-off, Drake’s equally long-awaited Certified Lover Boy has become available to stream.
The Canadian has (ostensibly) timed the release of his sixth studio album to coincide with Ye’s tenth, upping the ante of their recently reignited feud which saw the former’s residential address posted on social media, and the latter’s childhood home defaced by some yet-to-be-identified 6 God fans.

Features from the likes of Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Jay-X, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, and more have been thrown into the mix. Not to stoke the flames of rivalry any further, especially in a climate where beef occurs every second day, but many of you will have noticed both CLB and Donda have a decent bit of overlap in terms of additional talent. Wonder how negotiating schedules and commitments for that one went down…
