Hans Zimmer, the undeniable GOAT of film scores, is making his way back to Australia for an electrifying genre and soundscape-bending showcase.
2025’s Hans Zimmer Live tour features a 19-piece band, full orchestra, and Lisa Gerrard — the Australian vocalist you’ve heard in Gladiator, Mission: Impossible, and Black Hawk Down.
This will reportedly be the last opportunity for fans to see Hans Zimmer Live before he “begins working on a brand-new live production.”
Six years since he last graced this sunburnt country of ours, the one and only Hans Zimmer has announced he’s returning to Australia for what promises to be an epic 2025 live tour.
The magnitude of this multi-date event certainly shouldn’t be lost on anyone. Over his half-century career, the Academy, BAFTA, and Grammy Award-winning film composer has delivered iconic scores for everything from Rain Man, Thelma & Louise, The Lion King, The Rock, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, and Pirates of the Caribbean; to Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Dunkirk, as well as, Interstellar.
Over the last six years alone, the German maestro found time to drop some cinematic heat for Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, No Time To Die, Top Gun: Maverick, and The Creator. In total, the 500+ projects he’s been directly involved with have a combined box office gross exceeding $28 billion.

The upcoming Australian tour follows a sold-out run of over 20 shows across North America in 2024.
Tickets for the Australian leg of the Hans Zimmer Live tour will officially go on sale Wednesday, February 12th at 12 PM (AEDT) while the Frontier Members presale kicks off the day before on Tuesday, February 11th at 11 AM (AEDT).
