  • Spotify Wrapped has returned with a breakdown of our 2024 listening habits.
  • Trends and user data aside, this year’s edition comes with an artificial intelligence twist.
  • In 2024, the top artists were exactly who we expected — ranging from the bestselling likes of Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Billie Eilish, to Bad Bunny, Kanye West, and Ariana Grande.

Nothing quite captures where we are as a culture like Spotify Wrapped. Beyond what we’ve been collectively listening to alone.

For the latest edition, the audio streaming giant has leveraged Google’s NotebookLM to deliver an AI-generated podcast that breaks down your personalised experience. A separate AI-related module also allows you to turn your annual highlights into playlists.

Both accompany Spotify’s existing AI-backed personal DJ, which awkwardly “hosts” a show about your year in music.

So what did we bump the hardest in 2024?
