We’ve been saying it for years, this fella might just be the best musician to come out of Britain this decade.
Boss Hunting readers might be familiar with the modest South Londoner, who went from cutting beats in high school to a worldwide success a few years back with his album Beat Tape 2. For those playing catch up at home, have a squizz at our chat with him following his EP release last year.
Currently, at the admirable age of 22, the man’s just dropped his third album, Geography, off the back of a few hyped track releases these last four months or so. The significance of this compilation of tunes is huge for Tom, who has always expressed a keen interest in collaborating with some of his all-time big-name idols.
His signature funk/soul/R’n’B sounds you’ll hear on this album feature some tight bars from the likes of upcoming American rapper GoldLink, fellow London local Loyle Carner, and all-time hip-hop gods De La Soul, the last of which especially being a colossal collaboration towards ticking off some big names in Tom’s future career.
Enough chat. Cop the new album below and get stuck in this weekend.
