A few months ago, Showtime announced finance-legal drama Billions starring Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti was set to return for the second half of season 5 in September.
Slated for a September 5th premiere date in the US and September 6th here in Australia via domestic streaming platform Stan, fans are finally receiving the last five episodes they’ve been waiting over a year for.
In the second half of Billions season 5, the presence of powerful billionaire Mike Prince (portrayed by Corey Stoll) sends ripples all throughout Axe Capital and gives Attorney US General Chuck Rhoades (portrayed by Paul Giamatti) a potential new weapon in his lengthy fight against billionaire nemesis Bobby Axelrod (portrayed by Damian Lewis).
