Following a two-year hiatus, Netflix is finally feeding everybody’s (apparent) craving for high-gloss food television — courtesy of the return of Chef’s Table.
The streaming giant has officially greenlit another three back-to-back seasons of the popular, James Beard Award-winning docuseries: starting with a noodle-themed spinoff set to premiere in Australia on October 2nd.
Dedicated to “the art of noodle-making” and four of its most masterful practitioners, Chef’s Table: Noodles follows Los Angeles’ Evan Funke, Peppe Guida of Italy, Cambodian American Nite Yun, and London/China-based Guirong Wei as each chef shares “their culinary journey and the stories behind delicious signature dishes.”

This series marks the fourth occasion that the Chef’s Table team have spun the show off in pursuit of a single culinary theme: having previously tackled ‘Pastry’ (2018), ‘BBQ’ (2020), and ‘Pizza’ (2022).
The arrival of Chef’s Table: Noodles next month will be followed by the show’s 7th series proper on November 27th: with a concerted emphasis this go around, with one notable exception, on chefs in North and South America.
These include Nok Suntaranon of Philadelphia, Kwame Onwuachi of Tatiana New York, and Mexico City’s Norma Listman and Saqib Kebal.
For dessert, Netflix will be returning to the thematic angle with a special Chef’s Table: Legends next April. Timed for a release that coincides with the series’ 10th anniversary, this limited series will “pay tribute to the culinary legends who have shaped the modern world of food”.
