- The latest Daredevil: Born Again trailer, featuring Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, has been received as comforting reassurance over the series’ post-Netflix fate.
- There were initial concerns about the overhaul that production required in 2023, and how the gritty TV series would “fit” within the predominantly family-friendly MCU — but it appears the showrunners have stuck the landing.
- Daredevil: Born Again will be available to stream on March 4th, 2025.
The MCU may have found the antidote to superhero fatigue with the long-gestating Daredevil: Born Again, which has now answered some crucial questions surrounding the beloved property’s migration from Netflix to Disney+ , courtesy of a gripping trailer.
Fans of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdoch can breathe easy — the blind attorney by day/vigilante by night hasn’t been neutered for family-friendly viewing. In fact, based on footage previewed today, he appears to be even more bone-crunchingly lethal than ever.

As the story of this sequel series goes, Murdock is lured out of crimefighting retirement at a time when arch nemesis and supposedly reformed crime lord, Wilson Fisk / Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio), campaigns to become mayor of New York City.
Currently, the prevailing theory is that Kingpin will manipulate Daredevil into taking out his underworld rivals under the guise of “cleaning up the streets.” But I suppose we’ll simply have to wait and see (no pun intended).
To the delight of many long-running fans, Jon Bernthal has returned as the gritty Frank Castle / Punisher, along with Wilson Bethel as former FBI agent-turned-psychopath Benjamin “Dex” Pointdexter / Bullseye. Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson also reprise their roles as Karen Page and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, respectively.
Kamar de los Reyes makes his debut as street-level hero Hector Ayala / White Tiger, while the actor behind key antagonist Muse has yet to be disclosed.
This revival has been spearheaded by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman, and Chris Ord; with Scardapane serving as showrunner, and Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead as lead directors. Daredevil: Born Again hits Disney+ on March 4th, 2025 — check out the trailer above.
