- HBO Max’s Dune: Prophecy has locked in an official release date with its latest trailer.
- The prequel series, which arrives in approximately a month, will chronicle the rise of the Bene Gesserit — 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides.
- Expect it to hit the domestic likes of Foxtel/Foxtel GO and Binge around (if not exactly) the same time.
Between Denis Villeneuve’s electrifying Dune: Part Two and HBO Max’s Dune: Prophecy, Frank Herbert fans are eating well in 2024 — the latter of which not only has a tantalising full-length trailer, but as of today, a confirmed release date.
Set 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides, this forthcoming prequel series formerly titled The Sisterhood follows sisters Valya (Emily Watson) and Tula Harkonnen (Olivia Williams) as they combat forces that threaten the future of humanity, and establish the fabled sect the universe would come to know as the Bene Gesserit.
