If there’s one thing HBO knows, it’s intrigue. And intrigue is precisely what its forthcoming miniseries Full Circle promises to deliver in spades along with a stacked cast and heavyweight director in Steven Soderbergh (Ocean’s Trilogy, No Sudden Move).
Full Circle follows an investigation into a botched kidnapping that unravels long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present-day New York City.
Based on the footage preview today, we’d characterise it as a high-budget writing exercise penned by noted franchise scribe and previous Soderbergh collaborator Ed Solomon, which we look forward to watching unfold across six instalments. Now, about this stacked cast…

The crime drama has been led by Atlanta alum Zazie Beetz as Harmony, Claire Danes as Sam, Timothy Olyphant as Derek, along with Dennis Quaid, Jharrel Jerome, Gerald Jones, Sheyi Cole, CCH Pounder, Phaldut Sharma, Aida, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes, as well as comedian Jim Gaffigan in an uncharacteristically serious role.
In addition to writing and directing, respectively, Full Circle has also been executive produced by Solomon and Soderbergh alongside Casey Silver.
As for the release date, Full Circle is scheduled to premiere with two episodes right off the bat on July 13th, 2023 via both HBO Max (US) and Binge + Foxtel (Australia) – check out the gripping teaser trailer above.
