US Presidential candidate/musical artist/fashion mogul Kanye West has been known to cry “release date” on several occasions… more so when it comes to his own strangely elusive albums than anything else, but the notion stands. Naturally, when Kanye West announced he was appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast last week, his claims were met with a healthy dose of scepticism. But in an incredible plot twist, Ye actually wasn’t lying existing in his own fabricated reality this time around – and the interview once thought to be nothing more than a pipe dream is finally here.
Given how the majority of us operating on the AEDT timezone were either sound asleep when this dropped or simply preoccupied with the electrifying UFC 254 event (wherein Khabib Nurmagomedov brilliantly defended his title and undefeated record against Justin Gaethje before retiring); we can’t exactly give you a detailed breakdown of what was covered. At least not beyond the broad strokes of music, the presidential race, and apparently a string of assassination conspiracies. All we do know is that it should make for some proper good easy Sunday listening.
“When I talk, it’s not a rant,” West tells Rogan.
“It’s a symphony of ideas. I just tell the truth and telling the truth is crazy in a world full of lies.”
Right-o, well… you can listen to the full Kanye West episode of The Joe Rogan Experience either above or below (depending on your preferred method of consumption).
