Following the natural timeline of Colombia’s Medellin and Cali cartels, the fourth season of the incredibly popular Narcos had nowhere to go but north. This year, the Netflix original returns for Narcos: Mexico, a mini re-brand of the series with newcomers Michael Peña and Diego Luna spearheaded by original creators Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard.
Expanding on the birth of the Guadalajara cartel and the subsequent cross-border ‘drug war’ that we’ve come to know today between Mexico and the United States, season four is looking fresh while still exuding the staple Narcos flavour we’ve come to know and love.
