Experience Michael Imperioli and Steve Schirripa’s Talking Sopranos in a new format, complete with bonus content, thanks to HBO Max (now rebranded to “Max”).
The hit podcast was by far one of the greatest products of the lockdown years. Officially kicking off back in April 2020, the two former co-stars – who portrayed Christopher Moltisanti and Bobby Baccalieri, respectively – and re-examined the entire series with guest stars ranging from the likes of Lorraine Bracco (Dr Jennifer Melfi) to the great creator himself David Chase.
Now, HBO Max has produced video edits of each podcast episode which include relevant clips from The Sopranos, as well as being grouped together with its corresponding instalment.

According to Indiewire, fans can also enjoy a special bonus episode for the prequel film The Many Saints of Newark starring Alessandro Nivola and the late James Gandolfini’s own son Michael as the younger iteration of his iconic character.
Talking Sopranos the podcast concluded a year later in December 2021 after 91 episodes and the publishing of the best-selling book Woke Up This Morning: The Definitive Oral History of The Sopranos.
As for when it’ll hit Aussie shores, while there’s been no official word just yet, we can probably expect its arrival on Binge (our domestic answer to HBO Max / Max).
