Every man in the know is aware is that Common Projects’Â Original Achilles low-top leather sneaker is the best clean white casual shoe in the game.Â
Made in Italy and featuring all the classic details, including a round toe, lace-up fastening and rubber midsole, each pair is gold hot-stamped with a serial number to remind the keen observer that they aren’t your average pair of Adidas Continentals.
While desirable, they’re also quite expensive, retailing right now for £230 (~AU$450). If you don’t have that kind of cash to splash, we’ve recently been trialling Oliver Cabell’s Low 1 white kicks, which are basically the same shoe for half the price and a great Common Projects alternative. They’re so good we’ve included them in our list of the best white sneakers for men.
Hand-stitched and lasted in Albacete, Spain, Oliver Cabell’s version is made from full-grain calfskin leather from Veneto, Italy, matched with Spanish cowhide leather for the interior lining.

I’ve been wearing these for three weeks now and would suggest ordering a half size smaller than your usual shoe size, as they run a little larger than normal and can be stretched out after a good session of wearing in.Â
They’re in such high demand, however, that stock is always running out, so be sure to snap up a pair or register your email for re-stocking updates.
