As Dodge prepares to debut its first all-electric muscle car, the automaker has unveiled its two-year marketing, dealership, and product initiative, which will serve as the roadmap for rolling out its next generation of muscle cars. Dubbed the “Never Lift” business plan, the most headline-worthy aspect involved the fact Dodge is actually looking to hire a Chief Donut Maker.

The ambassador to Dodge’s Never Lift era will reportedly receive US$150,000 / AU$200,000 per year, an assigned wardrobe, business cards, as well as their very own Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat to drive at various brand events. Given both the official title and nature of the beast, while little else has been divulged about the position at this stage… you’ll probably be expected to delete some tyres in a circular motion. I don’t know. Just a hunch.

“The Dodge brothers were scrappy go-getters,” says Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge.

“Never content to follow the trends, they were the seekers of a better, faster, more outrageous way of doing things. And we’re looking to hire someone just like them as an ambassador of Never Lift.”

Additionally, Dodge is planning to kick off a massive eight-week giveaway known as “Operation 25/8,” wherein a total of 25 cars will be up for grabs. Hosted by various public figures from the worlds of sports, music, and automotive, winners will be provided with an opportunity to drive off in whatever brand new Dodge happens to tickle their fancy (as opposed to the usual predetermined prize structure).

“More than gas, more than batteries, what fuels our run to tomorrow is attitude – a belief that we can always push harder, run faster, and flat-out over-deliver on behalf of the brand and the Brotherhood of Muscle,” adds Kuniskis.

“25/8 recognizes the spirit that makes Dodge, well, Dodge.”

Details regarding how you can apply to become the Dodge Chief Donut Maker – along with the other components of Dodge’s forthcoming Never Lift era – will be provided on January 12th of 2022.
