British national treasure and president of the Inter Miami football club, David Beckham, has recently nabbed himself a slick new penthouse in Downtown Miami.

Designed by Zaha Hadid, the 1,000-square-metre condo atop the One Thousand Museum development will play host to the Beckhams during David’s upcoming years overseeing his newly established football team. The white-washed space is perched 200 metres above the sun-kissed streets of Miami.

So what does a US$20 million (AU$25.96 million) price-tag get you? A massive five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, a 100-square-metre terrace and a movie theatre almost within touching distance of the clouds. The residence is predominantly clean geometric architecture finished with glossy black flooring and dotted with conceptual zen gardens.

Check out the expansive space below, see more at 1000museum.com, and then read about how David Beckham spends his millions.
