Black Bowmore, a dram first distilled in 1964, has become one of the most sought-after single-malts on earth. Coincidentally, this same year also proved definitive for British automotive marque, Aston Martin, thanks to what has since become the “most famous car in the world” – the Aston Martin DB5.
The vehicle made its glorious debut alongside Sean Connery in 1964’s Goldfinger, cementing Aston Martin as James Bond’s most beloved car across the franchise’s 50-plus year history.

To celebrate both icons of their respective industries, Bowmore distillery and Aston Martin are releasing 25 bottles of the Black Bowmore DB5, an ultra-rare drop housed in an exclusive presentation case. Each dram has been handcrafted by a Scottish glass studio (which took an entire week to complete) and features a genuine Aston Martin DB5 piston.
The Aston Martin Black Bowmore DB5 is retailing for GBP£50,000, and you can read more at bowmore.com.
