The phrase โJack of all tradesโ doesnโt seem to have a more appropriate definition at the moment than the man himself, Idris Elba.
The actor/director/producer/rapper/tune spinner and all around don is soon to add โbar ownerโ to his rap sheet, with the Briton set to open a cocktail bar in London this month.
Contrary to what you might expect from Elba, the bar known as โThe Parrotโ will be housed in one of Londonโs premier establishments, the Waldorf Hilton Hotel, with a heavy-hitting cocktail list to match thatโs sure to dazzle both aficionados and their wallets.
According to their Instagram, The Parrot has also partnered with British luxury automaker Aston Martin to offer chauffeur-driven transfers for their most discerning customers in a four-door Rapide.
The joint will host a five-piece live house band with rotating singers, and we can only assume Elba himself will grace the decks on the odd occasion as heโs done so previously at popular venues around the world.
