The clearest indication the holidays are around the corner? It isn’t your waning motivation to sit at a desk and return emails. It isn’t the fact our calendars are suddenly crammed with evening blowout after blowout. It’s when companies begin smushing their wares into the Christmas cookie cutter. Not that we’re complaining. Especially when it takes the form of something like the Miller Lite Christmas beer ornaments (or, in the words of its marketing, Miller Lite Beeraments).
In the same vein as Craft Cartel’s Christmas tinnie tree featuring 48 cans and, of course, the personalised Victoria Bitter slabs which sent many of us into a spending frenzy… this is precisely what it sounds like. A functional ornament plastered with Miller Lite branding which you can actually crack open come December 25th and commence sucking surrounded by your nearest + dearest / most concerned + most disapproving family members (paging @fridaybeers).
“Once enjoyed, Beernaments can be hung on Christmas trees for all to behold by simply using the tab and a hook,” explains brand Miller Lite.

The ornament element itself is designed to fit snuggly around a standard eight-ounce can of the eponymous piss. But theoretically, it should work perfectly fine with just about any eight-ounce can. Plus anyone with some paint handy could conceivably customise the snow-white exterior into whatever they pleased. Maybe try to keep it PG, though. It is Baby Jesus’ birthday.
“We know that people are looking forward to more intimate holiday celebrations this year, which means more Miller Time with close friends and loved ones,” says Sofia Colucci, Global Vice President of Miller.
“Our Beernaments are not only hilarious – but a great way to keep the holidays bright for beer lovers everywhere, from drinks to décor.”
A six-pack of the Miller Lite Christmas beer ornaments – AKA the Miller Lite Beeraments – will set you back US$19.75 (beer not included; egregious… I know). And just to salt the wound, it’s strictly limited to the US.
Your move, VB.
