For any Sydneysiders out there looking for another excuse to drink, you’ll be delighted to hear Revel’s Pinot Palooza returns to Carriageworks this long weekend — with up to 100 wineries pouring the goods this time around (roughly double last year’s winemakers).
Featuring a stacked lineup that counts the likes of Attwoods, Blue Gables, Broad Arrow, Marchand & Burch, and Meadowbank, this celebration of the red wine varietal comes paired with an equally impressive lineup of cheese, tunes, and plenty more.

The fun, however, won’t be limited to this weekend. Nor Sydney alone.
The next stop will be Brisbane, where they’ll receive an exclusive crossover event for the ages. As it so happens, this edition unites Pinot Palooza with Revel’s other juggernaut fest, the cheese-centric affair that is Mould, for the aptly dubbed Pinot Palooza x Mould Fest 2024.
The following week, regular old Pinot Palooza makes its way to Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building, sadly divorced from Mould, to wrap it up for another year.
Pinot Palooza 2024 comes off the back of several incredibly successful expansion years for the Melbourne-born event. Although nobody really expected failure.
For reference, prior to the pandemic, Revel was able to sell approximately 65,000 tickets globally, making it one of the world’s most popular small-scale wine festivals in the world.

As for the matter of moola, tickets for each session (5 PM to 9 PM; 11 AM to 3 PM; 4 PM to 8 PM) will only set you back $55 + transaction fees. The cost covers all wine tasting, a classic Revel wine glass, a custom wine tote bag “for your wine loot,” plus access to special talks and wine chats throughout the festival. A bargain in this economy, if you ask me.
