There aren’t many events on the Aussie calendar more exciting and exhilarating than Melbourne’s Formula 1 season opener.
An event that has captivated the globe for decades, the Australian Grand Prix – little known to most – was actually once held in Adelaide before taking over Albert Park.
For the 25th year of Formula 1 being hosted at the famed street/track circuit, fellow South Australian brand, St Hugo, have once again renewed their partnership with the Grand Prix weekend in 2020.
As the official wine supplier of the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix, the fine winemaker is offering a bespoke wine lounge that takes its inspiration from the home of St Hugo in the Barossa Valley.
Exclusively for guests of the Formula 1 Paddock Club™, the trackside hospitality suite will celebrate the power and elegance of St Hugo’s wines with VIP guests the lucky few to sample the first release of the brand’s new Fine and Rare Collection.
Previously only available to buy at the St Hugo home in the Barossa Valley, the back vintage collection is currently available for purchase through select retailers, the St Hugo wine club, duty-free and exclusive venues after the F1.
To mark the renewed partnership with Formula 1, St Hugo has also released a limited edition 2016 St Hugo Coonawarra Shiraz – a balanced drop with a distinctive red fruit structure and excellent regional integrity in sync with the varietal’s classic DNA.
The limited drop will be available for attendees to experience at the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020, exclusive Melbourne restaurants, and online via sthugo.com at an RRP of $57.99.
