To launch this year’s edition in style, world-renowned pastry chef and internet-famous chocolatier Amaury Guichon (AKA The Chocolate Guy) will make his Australian debut in Sydney. From May 8th-10th, Guichon is bringing his edible artistry to a pop-up store at 20 Martin Place, where guests have the rare opportunity to purchase one of his jaw-dropping creations for just $15 across three days.
To sweeten the deal, the first 100 American Express Card Members through the door between 10 AM and 11 AM each day will receive a complimentary piece of Guichon’s work.

Express in Sydney!” said Guichon himself.
For those seeking a more decadent nightcap, the culinary fun continues upstairs. From May 9th-10th, American Express Card Members can book an exclusive ticketed experience at the Amex Dessert Bar by Amaury Guichon & Maybe Sammy, hosted on Level 16 of the same venue.

The experience features a 45-minute dining affair along with bespoke dessert-driven cocktails crafted in collaboration with Sydney’s globally acclaimed bar team led by Stefano Catino. Tickets are priced at $50 per person, with limited sessions from 5 PM each evening.
Beyond these hero moments, AEDMO 2025 will roll out its popular cashback offer for Card Members. From April 30th to June 1st, eligible Card Members can enjoy 20% back (up to $25 per card) at more than 55,000 participating dining venues nationwide. How good.
