Ready to cancel those health-related 2021 resolutions? KFC Australia has announced the iconic Tower Burger is officially making a limited return around the country in “the biggest comeback of the decade”; and just in time to get a headstart on those sloppy winter rigs that are built for comfort and nothing else.
Last available back in 2018 – a simpler time before world-ending pandemics, phantom release dates, and Facebook going to war with governments – the KFC Tower Burger has apparently been the most requested menu item in domestic fast-food history. Incidentally, it also has one of the highest regret-to-pleasure ratios in domestic fast-food history.
“For the first time in nearly three years, we’re excited to bring back an all-time fan favourite,” says Kristi Woolrych, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Australia.

“Fans across the country have been vocal in calling for its return, so we know they’ll be eager to get their hands on it while they can – but get in quick as you never know when it’ll be back again.”
Now, you’ll once again be able to enjoy a crispy piece of Original Recipe chicken, perfectly golden hash brown, cheese, lettuce, completed with mayonnaise and tangy tomato sauce, all sandwiched between a sesame-speckled bun.
The KFC Tower Burger will be available to purchase for just $8.95 (or $11.95 in a combo) starting from today until March 22nd at participating locations.
