Sydney’s oyster bar and restaurant The Morrison is gearing up for its annual Oyster Festival. Now in its seventh year, head chef Sean Connolly and his team are slinging oysters for just a buck fifty throughout the month of August.
Taking place between 6-7 pm daily, seafood fans can suck down as many oysters as they want for just $1.50 each while enjoying a couple of froths or glasses bubbles at the bar. If you’re worried about queues, make a 6 pm dinner reservation and oysters will be served straight to your table.
Weekend visitors can book in oysters and bottomless bubbles for just $55, where you can enjoy 12 fresh oysters while slamming down unlimited glasses of wine for two hours every Saturday and Sunday throughout August.

If you’re after something more filling than a couple of oysters, take a squizz at Morrison’s oyster special menu, featuring oysters from over 50 different regions across Australia served in dishes specially created by Connolly for the month-long festival.
Some of the more tantalising creations are an oyster ‘n’ leek chowder served over duck fat fries, fried oyster sliders, oyster stuffed streak and southern fried oysters with twice-cooked pork belly.
The Morrison Oyster Festival runs from August 1 through to August 31. For more details visit themorrison.com.au.
