Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got an exclusive golf label, an incredibly binge-able new comedy series, scrummy Easter treats, and more.

Redan Golf
Luxurious cashmere knits. Seasonal collections. Collaborations with the likes of Tiffany & Co and FootJoy. It’s the stuff of golf fashion dreams. The catch? Only a select list of members can access any of it via a private app; where they can also sign up for a rotating event calendar hosted at the world’s most coveted golfing destinations.
The label was founded by credentialled designer Jon Buscemi of Oliver Peoples and Gourmet fame (also cousin to Steve BTW), who only came into contact with golf circa 2017 during a period of boredom thanks to his friend Steve Malbon (founder of Malbon Golf); and represents just the latest intersection between the beloved sport and lifestyle fashion.
“Redan’s not just an apparel brand, it’s not just a concierge service, it’s not just collaborations and cool stuff. It’s the idea of getting people together and building a community,” Buscemi told Hypegolf.
But whether you would personally – as GQ’s Jake Wolf has so eloquently put it – pay $4,000 for the chance to buy a $650 golf shirt and so forth, however, is another matter entirely. Apply to become a member through the link below if you’re keen.
Under Armour ‘Echo’ Sneakers
Form meets function in the Under Armour Echo, and as of this week, it’s available in Australia.
No longer is the top-tier tech just for the field or court. Blending high-performance innovation with high-design aesthetics, it’s effortlessly stylish, remarkably functional, and promises all-day wearability; continuing to bridge the gap between sport and street.
Key features of these fresh new kicks include HOVR cushioning for ultimate comfort; symmetrical lacing for a secure fit; a dynamic upper, inspired by sports tape for adaptive support; plus the UA SlipSpeed heel for a versatile fit – wear it up for a secure lockdown or down for a relaxed, slip-on feel.
Ring’s Smart Video Search
As much as we may groan about artificial intelligence, certain elements of it certainly make life easier. Like the Smart Video Search function that’s recently become available for Ring cameras here in Australia.
Currently in public beta and powered by Ring IQ, it leverages Visual Language Modelling to match text with images faster and more accurately. Meaning you can type in queries like “deliveries this week” or “visitors with dogs,” and it’ll almost instantly pull up relevant clips from the archive.
It does, however, require a Ring Home Premium subscription, which is priced at $29.95 per month or $299.95 per year domestically (in addition to the Ring kit itself, of course).
The Studio (now streaming via Apple TV+)
This week, I confirmed those earlier suspicions that Apple TV+’s The Studio would quickly become my new favourite series.
How I’d describe it would be Entourage meets Curb Your Enthusiasm and Veep. It’s been co-created by and stars Seth Rogen as Matt Remick – the newly appointed head of Continental Studios, who’s desperate for celebrity approval and tasked with the tricky balancing act of keeping the money people happy vs creating genuine cinema.
Comedy aside, a standout of this satire is the sheer wealth of high-profile cameos who are surprisingly game to portray the worst versions of themselves.
Starward Whisky x Andy Bowdy’s Hot Cross Buns
The unspoken truth? The countdown to Easter begins the moment Australia Day is in the rear-view mirror. And excitingly enough, said countdown just inched closer to the public holiday with Starward Whisky and renowned pastry chef Andy Bowdy’s whisky-inspired hot cross buns.
Inspired by Starward’s signature serve, the (New) Old Fashioned, Chef Bowdy has essentially crafted limited-edition hot cross buns “studded” with Starward Two-Fold Whisky-soaked fruit. The goods will be available for purchase from April 16th to 19th, only from the Ace Hotel’s Good Chemistry.
Bonus: any purchase of two to four buns includes a voucher to enjoy a complimentary (New) Old Fashioned at Ace Hotel’s Lobby Bar; while purchase of six buns or more can also redeem a complimentary 500ml bottle of the (New) Old Fashioned via the Starward site below. How bloody good.
