Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In yet another edition of ‘Good Finds’, we’ve got motorcycle-mounted fast chargers and a summery aperitif (made right in the heart of Melbourne) that’ll make you rethink vermouth. Plus…plenty more.

Peak Design Motorcycle Phone Mount With Qi2 Charging
A recommendation from none other than Jack Slade — BH’s techy, gear-fixated MD — these motorcycle mounts for your phone, designed by California-based Peak Design, drew five times the financial backing needed to bring them to market. It’s not hard to see why.
Available in multiple “hard-locking, fast-charging” configurations, there’s a mount here to suit virtually every kind of two-wheel personal vehicle.
Even the most basic versions come with a magnetic locking mechanism and vibration dampers that protect your cellular on the road.
But really, what you want is the version that comes with Qi2 wireless charging. If the on-site testimonials are anything to go by, this is the world’s “best phone mounting system” by a country mile.
Knoll Tugendhatâ„¢ Chair
Leave it to our colleague Nick Kenyon, Mister-Murano-glassware-and-weirdly-shaped-watches, to spruik this ‘Tugendhat’ lounge chair: an authorised limited-time reproduction of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s design of the same name, first released in 1929.
The legendary Bauhaus architect might be best remembered for his contributions to the built environment, but equally, this princely bit of home décor embodies his adherence to the principle that “less is more”.
Set atop a cantilevered steel frame, Knoll allows buyers to customise these modern Tugendhats with a dozen different types of cushioning and two metal finishes.
Morena Restaurant (Martin Place, Sydney)
When it comes to restaurants, Nick Mayor, BH‘s resident ex-hospo guru, doesn’t give out compliments freely, so when he slipped into the work chat last week to declare Sydney’s Morena “thoroughly enjoyable” we knew it was a lock for ‘Good Finds’.
Chef Alejandro Saravia’s highly polished lens on various “diverse cuisines from across Latin American culture”, this venue seemingly has something for everybody.
The historic GPO setting will please power-lunching executives and content creators alike. And if you’re keen for a primer in Latin American cookery? Few restaurants offer as exhaustive a spread.
From classic ceviche seasoned with leche de tigre to a range of beef, fish, and lamb cooked in the asado style this is one weekend dining date you don’t want to miss out on.
Saison ‘Summer Flowers’ Vermouth
At last, a wine distillate that’s fresh, easy-drinking and stacked with seasonal complexity.
We’d expect nothing less from Dave Verheul — also of EMBLA fame — who has long been a master of the addictive interplay between fruit and bitter botanicals.
Despite the ‘Summer Flowers’ label, rest assured that you can basically start drinking this immediately. On a crisp spring afternoon, with a lashing of tonic and bowl of olives, I can’t think of anything better to be honest.
Santa Maria Novella ‘Idralia’ Moisturising Mask
Part of Florentine apothecary Santa Maria Novella’s broader ‘Idralia’ skincare line, this moisturizing mask is a gentle formulation: full of lo-fi ingredients like shea butter and Damascene rose extract.
Best applied as the last step in your nighttime skincare regimen (ideally overnight, if you’re so inclined).
