Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got innovative undergarments from Step One, future-forward Crocs designs, Drake’s annual archive sale, and much more.

Ichiban Electric Motorcycle
Very much still a proof-of-concept (albeit one which has secured enough funding to leapfrog into production), this Ichiban motorcycle bears an uncanny resemblance to the bike featured in the 1988 sci-fi anime feature Akira.
Conceived by industrial designer Ivan Zhurba in line with the “Japanese principle of Kanso,” the Ichiban showcases fluid lines and uncluttered surfaces, concealing what its makers hope will be an engine that walks a tightrope between daily convenience and blistering performance.
Pricing and a release date are still up in the air, though the Ichiban team has confirmed that its namesake bike will sport a 45kW electric motor, 250 kilometres of range, and intriguingly, a feature known as ‘Godzilla’ mode.
CROCS Echo Wave
If Crocs’ ongoing collab with American footwear designer Salahe Bembury strikes you as too fashion-forward, the brand’s popular Echo Wave silhouette might just be the solution. Inspired by bio-synthetic forms, they’re a fantastic compromise between clogs and a full-blown sneaker.
Crocs use a digital sculpting technique in order to nail the Echo Wave’s look, which is notable for the way in which the upper flows seamlessly into the outsole — distinguished by its 5mm heel and proprietary LiteRide footbed.
In English? Expect the future of comfort. Now available in three colourways.
The Drake’s London Archive Sale
A column like Good Finds all but cries out for a similarly good deal. This week, we have the pleasure of bringing BH readers an especially exciting one: assuming you’re into quality tailoring and neo-prep sportswear.
Drake’s, the acclaimed London fashion brand, has quietly begun its annual archive sale; and though there’s a plethora of gear that is either sold out, or objectively still quite expensive, this is a great opportunity to pull the trigger on high-quality wardrobe essentials that will serve you well for years to come.
Pieces I’m quite liking at a glance include: an unstructured raglan coat in wool houndstooth ($2,200); Drake’s signature popover in cotton chambray ($405); grey cable-knit Shetlands ($335); and given the brand’s history in neckwear, a classic silk/cotton tie decorated with regimental stripes ($260).
Step One Boxer Briefs
A direct-to-consumer outfit that has seen a lot of success of late, Step One is upping its game with the introduction of ‘Cloud Mesh’: an organic performance material (made of viscose derived from bamboo) rolling out across its range of popular boxer and brief styles.
There are a total of five styles available, in various colourways, to suit a range of body shapes. But across the entire Step One offering, expect UltraGlyde panels and a 3D Comfort pouch — both features that contribute to an underpant that is ideally suited to men with an active lifestyle.
Langtons Upcoming ‘Ultimate Dinner’ Series
Admittedly, I was a little sceptical about the wisdom of promoting a series of wine dinners that cost somewhere in the vicinity of $3,000-$7,000. Yet given how rapidly tickets are selling, it presents a ripe opportunity to draw attention to Langtons (and the tastings that Australia’s “premiere fine wine destination” puts on every year).
There’s one spot remaining for the company’s ‘Fine & Rare’ showcase ($6,999): set to take place next Thursday at Aria, where guests will enjoy the sort of Grand Cru bottles that auctioneers so often enjoy describing as “investment-grade.”
If you’re a little more value-minded — and I use that phrase in a purely comparative context — the ‘Growers & Grande Marques’ event ($2,999) presents fizz lovers a rare opportunity to sample 11 legendary Champagnes over dinner at Josh Niland’s. Again, this is very niche stuff. But for those who enjoy it, an excellent opportunity.
