Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.

In our latest edition of â€˜Good Finds’, we’ve got Pre-Fall outerwear from Ralph Lauren, limited edition Japanese whisky, a super-sleek bar fridge (that comes with its own wine club subscription), and much more.

Grails ‘Berlin’ Watch Holder

Good Finds

Another neat bit of watch-adjacent kit from our resident horologist Nick Kenyon.

This choice bit of product design (nicknamed the ‘Berlin’) features a colour scheme inspired by the Jaguar XKSS and shape reminiscent of Porsche’s 930 production car.

Crafted out of solid aluminium, it’s a clever new twist on your typical timepiece holder.

Nikka ‘Nine Decades’ 90th Anniversary Whisky

A blend of six different malt & grain whiskies from Nikka: the owner-operator behind Japan’s acclaimed Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries.

Limited to an allocation of 40 bottles in Australia, the oldest component whisky in the ‘Nine Decades’ comes from a cask laid down at Yoichi in the 1940s. Nothing short of historic stuff.

Rocco x Las Jaras ‘Super Smart’ Fridge

Puts your typical big-box retailer sourced wine fridge to shame. Imagined, from the ground up, by Rocco to be a “sleeker, higher-performing” alternative to almost everything else in the market, the ‘Super Smart’ fridge handily lives up to its name.

Standout features include a seamless design allowing the unit to sit flush with the wall, reversible racks, multiple temperature zones, and — most unusually — a ‘sight system’ (currently iOS only) that allows owners to view the contents of their fridge using their phone.

The version in ‘cream cladding’ comes with a complimentary half-case of Las Jaras wines. Direct delivery to Australia isn’t available just yet, but in the meantime, Rocco’s own website encourages you to take advantage of freight forwarding.

Say Nothing (Streaming November 14th)

A new nine-episode limited series, coming to FX later this month.

Say Nothing is based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Radden Keefe and unfolds over the course of four decades — against the backdrop of Troubles-era Northern Ireland.

Polo Ralph Lauren ‘Cortland’ Jacket

Good Finds

From the Pre-Fall 24 collection of Polo Ralph Lauren.

Vintage fireman jackets aren’t a new source of inspiration for the perennially popular neo-prep brand, but this seasonal execution is exemplary. The shell is made out of indigo-dyed denim, lined on the reverse with chambray.

I’d strongly encourage a trip in-store to get a better sense of how well-integrated the details here are. For instance: the front of the Cortland closes using snap fasteners, but Polo’s designers have gone one step further by reinforcing the front of the jacket with lobster-style closures.

Outdoor performance gear for men who are tired of dressing like they’re Equinox employees.
