Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In our latest edition of ‘Good Finds’, we’ve got wardrobe-saving cedar blocks by Muji, two significant venue openings in Melbourne, geezer-y polo shirts, and much more.

Salomon’s Maiden Aussie Location
To celebrate the arrival of Salomon’s first standalone boutique Down Under — in Melbourne’s Chadstone Shopping Centre, no less — the best-selling French techwear brand is putting on a whole weekend of activations.
Expect daily events between November 15th-17th, including in-store styling sessions with Elliot Garnaut and a mid-morning community run courtesy of S/PLUS.
The Sullivans Cove 24YO ‘Lost Cask’, Nº HB0085
On the cusp of its 30th anniversary, Sullivans Cove is unveiling another highly collectible limited edition — from the brand’s signature ‘Lost Cask’ series.
There are a total of 132 bottles drawn from a single cask (numbered ‘HB0085’) up for grabs, originally distilled in 1997 and aged for a full 24-year period in American oak.
Ballot to purchase opens on November 18th at 10 AM (AEDT).
Muji Red Cedar Sticks With Sandpaper
A natural repellent against fabric-hungry insects, these red cedar sticks are superior — in practically every way — to the mediocre mothballs most of us for wardrobe protection. Refresh these sticks, once their scent begins to fade, with the accompanying sandpaper.

Maison Batârd Opens In Melbourne (November 26th)
Restaurant baron Chris Lucas’s sprawling and long-awaited French eatery is finally opening later this month, with reservations available commencing on November 7th.
Individual dining concepts within Maison Batârd include a clandestine underground supper club, two-storey signature restaurant, terrace lounge, and lots of private dining space.
Just in time for all your end-of-year blowout requirements.
Thames ‘Panayiotou’ Polo
A wonderfully scratchy knit polo, designed by skater-turned-fashion hyphenate Blondey McCoy.
There’s a lot going on here — with identifiable nods to neo-prep, skatewear, and retro athletic clothing. Good thing the end result remains so wearable.
