Zephyr’s ‘Sky Lounge’ Team-up With Moët & Chandon, Sydney
This summer, Zephyr — the popular rooftop bar located atop Hyatt Regency — is partnering with Moët &
Chandon to launch its new ‘Sky Bar’ concept. This collaboration encompasses everything from a new F&B menu to custom décor: styled with Moët’s trademark golden livery. Zephyr is also committing to live music acts (from Thursday to Saturday) into 2025.
True to its reputation as the most festive Champagne house, Moët has built a dedicated VIP lounge into the new ‘Sky Lounge’ takeover. Think bottle service, canapés that can be tailored to individual group needs and, of course, the signature Moët Impérial Champagne tower.
VIP packages start at a two-hour duration. To enquire, head to Zephyr’s website below.
Bowhill & Elliott ‘Street Slippers’ For The Anthology
Co-created with the acclaimed British shoemaker Bowhill & Elliott, these ‘street slippers’ are The Anthology’s rarefied, black tie-ready riff on conventional loafers.
The vamp has been cut with soft rounded corners so that this is a delight to wear, even when sockless. Meanwhile, the sole is hand-attached: allowing for a thinness that is difficult to achieve using via stitching.
More comfortable and durable than evening slippers, this is a consummate example of how great design in apparel needn’t necessarily reinvent the wheel.
Old Master Spirits 1978 Single Cask Armagnac
Offered courtesy of Melbourne’s Old Master Spirits, who “source and bottle the very best spirits that [they] can uncover from across the globe,” this Cognac has been drawn from a single cask — produced at the historic vineyards of Domaine de Papolle.
Left to age for 44 years, before being bottled at cask strength (40.3%), this is a damned sight more delicious — and indeed interesting — than your average mature-age single malt. Expect dark choc, cherry cola, and peach tea flavours; complemented by a long gently oaked finish.
Limited to a total production run of 132 bottles.
Diptyque’s First Australia Store, Melbourne
Acclaimed perfumer Diptyque has just opened its first domestic flagship at Chadstone shopping centre, burnishing Melbourne’s reputation as the fashion capital of Australia.
Despite its cosy footprint, the space manages to duplicate the warmth of the original Diptyque boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris; while incorporating choice Aussie touchpoints, such as wall-to-wall illustrations by artist Katrina O’Brien.
Open seven days a week, it’s a great spot to get much of your Christmas gifting done in one fell swoop: with fragrances, candles, and natural body care on offer.
