Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In our latest edition of ‘Good Finds’, we’ve got designer sweatpants, a new Sydney restaurant specialising in chic Australiana, the very first ever chypre scent from Hermès and plenty more.

Five Guys’ Second Melbourne Outpost (Opening October 14th)
In a bit of good news for Melburnians, Five Guys’ second outpost in the Garden City is set to open on Monday, October 14th — within the conveniently located confines of the QV retail precinct.
For those playing from home, the arrival of a follow-up Five Guys location is bound to delight fast food fiends. The acclaimed American chain offers a (relatively) small edit of burgers, hot dogs, and shakes.
Its killer edge? For a fixed fee, you can pile on as many toppings as you like: ranging from additional sauces to grilled mushrooms, jalapenos, raw onion and a range of other veggies. ‘Choose your own adventure’ eating of the most fun variety.
If you’d like some added ‘Day 1’ incentive, the first 100 diners into the store a fortnight from now will be gifted a stack of “limited-edition merchandise” to take home. Tasty.
Adidas x SFTM Trackpants
Our Account Manager Andrew can always be relied upon to attend the office in the biggest of fits; and, as ‘Good Finds’ like this pair of Adidas trackpants demonstrate, we mean that quite literally.
Made in collaboration with Sydney-based fashion house Song For The Mute (‘SFTM’), these sweats are an order of magnitude better made than many of the ‘dress pants’ we’ve seen in the wild. That, in spite of the recycled poly shell.
Channeling SFTM’s flair for avant-garde aesthetics, one of our favourite details is the V-cut hem — making these sweats an excellent match for your choice of chunky technical sneaker.
Tilda Sydney
Nick, our Accounts Director and resident hospo veteran, ducked his head into Tilda earlier this week — tucked away inside the newly refurbished Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
Part of a salvo of new dining concepts the property is rolling out in partnership with House Made Hospitality, it’s headed in the kitchen by Nathanael Merchant (formerly of Bentley Restaurant & Bar).
Though very much still in soft open mode, what Nick tells us about the joint thus far seems encouraging. Quiet interiors and a soothing colour palette are bound to give Tilda lots of cachet with the date night set; and the menu, laden with items like the centrepiece bread and butter service ($39), blends comfort food with a contemporary sensibility.
Hermès Barénia Eau De Parfum
A completely new perfume in the Hermès universe reportedly a decade in the making, Barénia is named for (and pays homage to) the soft calfskin leather of the same name: utilised in everything from small goods and accessories to the brand’s legendary Birkin handbag. So, no pressure then.
Fortunately, by almost all accounts, Barénia is a triumph: finally adding an enigmatic, chypre-based fragrance to the brand’s women’s universe that is the equal of Terre d’Hermes.
Currently available in 60ml and 100ml formats.
Bravomonster Speedster
One can always count on Garry, our News Editor and resident gadget obsessive, to come through with a — shall we say — unexpected ‘Good Finds’ recommendation (the man is eight years old at heart).
I’ll be the first to admit that I know next to nothing about the world of premium RC toy cars. Even so, Bravomonster’s Speedster stands out: for its vaguely Zagato-esque silhouette and “intelligent Digital Servo” motor.
There are certainly worse ways to embrace your inner child.
