Hollywood power player Mark Wahlberg has finally sold his beloved Beverly Park mansion after almost an entire year on the market.
Initially listed for US$87.5 million (AU$127 million) last April before slashing the price to US$79.5 million (AU$117.9 million) in November, Wahlberg has relinquished ownership of his chateau-style abode for US$55 million (AU$80 million) – that’s a significant discount nearing US$23 million (AU$33.35 million). Still, it’s not a bad return considering he and wife Rhea Durham snapped it up for just US$8.25 (AU$12 million) back in 2009.
So what does $80 million buy you in this ultra-exclusive gated community located in Los Angeles?
